Toni & Guy, The Rock

Since I started the transition from brunette to blonde three years ago, I've been every shade of yellow under the sun and my long, unkempt hair was in dire need of a professional seeing to.

I'd been thinking about doing something drastic for a long time now, so when I walked past my local Toni & Guy, I popped in and was over the moon when they said they could fit me in there and then.


I sat down with their Style Director and told him I'd been wanting to cut it all off for a while, but I was a bit scared. I then remembered how much I hated my current hairstyle and asked him to do whatever he wanted. I felt a slight pang of regret when several inches fell from above my eyes but as soon as he dried and styled my new do, I couldn't stop smiling.

I then met with their Colour Technician who discussed with me the best way I could achieve my dream shade of an ashy, white blonde. I had my skin test done and returned two days later for my highlights.

The whole experience was fantastic. The staff were so lovely and helpful, their Label M products smelt amazing and left my hair feeling incredible. I can honestly say I'm a high street hair salon convert and will be returning to Toni & Guy in the future.

Oh and the results? Shoulder length, ashy blonde, lots of layers and a FRINGE...
