01. English Laundry Signature For Her (full size, 50ml, £47.00)
As an avid traveller, I love perfume samples as they make an easy addition to any carry-on handbag.
Described as an Oriental Vanilla fragrance, English Laundry Signature is a beautiful fresh burst of sweetness, which then develops into deeper woody and musky notes.
After a quick spritz, I was really impressed with the scent, unfortunately the longevity isn't great. Meh.
02. Laura Mercier Long Lash Mascara (full size, £11.50)
After receiving the Laura Mercier Primer last month, I was excited to see another LM product in this November's Birchbox.
I've tried countless different mascaras before and this long lasting, water-resistant mascara extends and separates every single lash beautifully, leaving them darker and longer without any clumps or smudges.
03. Pukka Herbs Tea Bags (full box, 20 sachets, £5.00)
I accidently used one of these tea bags before taking the photo - oopsie - but the box consisted of three flavours; earl grey, elderberry and echinacea and three cinnamon. These delicious teas were rich in flavour and perfect for winding down with.
This highlighter pencil one of those fabulous multi-purpose products that pretty much does it all - brown bone, cupid's bow, centre of the nose, waterline - you name it and this pencil with lift, highlight and brighten wherever you apply it.
05. Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Nourishing Body Lotion (full size, 300ml, £25.00)
After a relaxing bath, I applied this body lotion all over, threw on my winter pyjamas and then actually received a complement from my boyfriend who had noted how good my skin smelt!
I'm a big fan of Molton Brown and this body lotion is a rich, relaxing, yet somehow energising scent.
06. Weleda Oat Replenishing Shampoo (full size, 190ml, £8.95)
Having spent the last three years going from brunette to blonde, all the colour treatment has left me with a head of dry and damaged hair. So as you can imagine, Weleda's list of organic ingredients and promise of nourishment had me feeling quite hopeful - however, I've never felt more disappointed.
The shampoo looks and smells like washing up liquid and as I massaged it into my hair I noticed it wasn't lathering very well. I put this down to the lack of synthetic chemicals and just rinsed it out and applied my usual conditioner.
After I'd dried and styled my hair, I noticed my hair actually looked worse than before I had washed it and my roots were visibly greasy! I've since given this another go and again my hair looked worse than before.
Am I missing something here? I'd love to hear what other people thought of this shampoo so please comment below and let me know what you thought! Maybe it just didn't agree with me?!
